Walking to the museum on a very, very hot day.
In the Baby Bjorn, on the way to the museum.
Lucas helped measure the oatmeal and cut the banana, and then wanted to eat it standing at the kitchen counter.
First day of training pants.
Looking at a polar bear. (At the Academy of Natural Sciences.)
At the Academy of Natural Sciences, he was pretty much only interested in pressing whatever buttons he could find.
A frog in Logan Fountain on what is hopefully the last 90+ degree weather of the summer.
Apple as eaten and photographed by Lucas.
Duck Girl, by Paul Manship
A quick break to eat a sandwich.
And he's off and running.
Down the stairs (not very gracefully).
Up the steps.
Throwing a penny into the fountain.
Picking up pennies to throw in the fountain.
Little big eyes.
Ahh, holding a sleeping baby.
Cozy on Mommy's arm.
Lucas and the Monster
Each time she sees herself in the mirror, she gets a big smile on her face.
Sylvia enjoys seeing the baby in the mirror.
Thinking Daddy is a little crazy...
Asleep on Daddy's shoulder.
Pose for the camera.
After a while, she seems to like the flash.
Lots of smiles!
A little smile.
Is it only a matter of time before she finds her thumb?

So much tape.
He just stood there, pulling and pulling and pulling.
It just keeps coming.
Resting on Daddy.
There is a LOT of tape.
Hm, I wonder how much of this tape is inside...
On the way home, Lucas' leg started hurting. After a nine and a half hour trip to the ER, he got a diagnosis of transient synovitis which cleared up almost entirely the next day.
One of Lucas' favorite books.
A train runs across this track.
Sleeping in the big bed.
On Daddy's shoulder.
Sick for the first time in his life.
